Off Centre

Cromer Beach

Off Centre is dedicated to providing a free counselling service to young people in Norfolk aged 13 - 19 years old, and is run in partnership with the Norfolk Youth and Community Service. If you want to see a counsellor, live in Norfolk, and don't have any way of getting into Norwich, then this service is the best one for you. All you need to do is call the free phone number 0800 917 5 917, and leave a message, someone will get back to you to arrange an initial appointment. Once you have had the initial appointment, there is usually a wait of between 2 and 6 weeks before you start your regular counselling, (although if people are having a really bad time we do provide a" crisis" session) and then a counsellor will ring or text you to make a first meeting, we'll try and ensure that it is at a place that is near you. People can call themselves, but we also take referrals from schools, social workers and other agencies. You can even get a friend to call for you - as long as that is what you want.

Housing Team

MAP also has housing workers based in Connexions Centres around the county. In Kings Lynn, Thetford, Great Yarmouth, and at Open in Norwich as well as at MAP's HQ. Telephone us on 01603 766994 for more details.
